Ronald McDonald House Chicago Donor Wall: B&W

“Color is black and white put together”

80 unique doors will be showcased on two gallery walls in the main public area of the Ronald McDonald House being built in the heart of downtown Chicago near Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. The doors are meant to symbolize the philosophy that ” The doors of Ronald McDonald House are always open for you.”  To learn more click on the following links:

Materials used: 

  • Laser cut black and white 1/8 thick acrylic
  • laser cut color paper used in landscape illustration

The image on the left shows a laser cut paper illustration – right, laser cut acrylic door panel is being prepared for painting.

White acrylic was spray painted black and pieced together like a puzzle.
